About Me

I am Md. Iman Anwar. You may know me from the blogs, but I am also the SCEO and President of iat Group. Here're some of my things you may know about...

# What are my interests?

I love reading books and also writing books. I also like writing universally. I like watching movies. I also like reading books that are released from RRP. And I don't forget to listen each and every weekly episodes of HBR.

# What are my favorite books?

My favorite books are mostly from RRP and Rick Riordan. But I also like Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer in addition to the new ongoing The Fowl Twins series. I also like The 39 Clues books which are authored by many authors and contains so much fun! The wizarding world of Harry Potter is also fantastic.
Currently I am tied with The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and the Infinity Ring series from Scholastic. I've also enjoyed some comics like: Tintin, Asterix. I haven't yet read much Marvel/DC comics because they're so vast that you'll loose your head in these world! But I like some series from Marvel that are through Marvel Illustrated like: Illiad, Treasure Island and so on....
I also like Graphic Novel adaptations too. Reading books and finding out that my imagination about something is correct, feels so awesome!
Actually I've a lot of books in mind, but I cannot write them all - so I've only written the known and big series you all can know.

# What are my favorite movies?

I am a big fan of movie adaptations from the comics, especially Marvel ones (as we don't get much from DC now-a-days). You can also take me to Harry Potter series movies, which I like them because of their nearer-to-the-books adaptation.
I would've liked the Percy Jackson movies, but they weren't that much perfect adaptation. But, I think the Mythomagic produced adaptations of upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians and The Kane Chronicles will be absolutely cool as Rick Riordan will be there (and I want him in a cameo appearance😊!).
I also like historical plus action movies. The sci-fi movies are also fantastic too watch (but don't give too much green-bodied aliens) with big spaceships. Thanks to the improvement of CGI, I like almost all the CGI-developed movies.
And who will forget about all those animated movies. I like the type of art and animation done by Disney, mostly the latest animated ones. Don't take me much of an Anime fan though.

# What are my favorite subjects?

I like history a lot (when you don't need to memorize all those dates in little time). They're awesome and full of kingdoms, rulers and so on... I also like science (not the whole one though) and especially astronomy. Engineering is also an awesome subject of science.
I also like literature (but not the one they teach you at school) and that is if there is novel books. I also like to learn new things and of course weird things plus experiments.

# Why I like Rick Riordan & Rick Riordan Presents novels so much?

After reading all the Rick Riordan books, I was so much amazed by all the mysteries and the new world that was opened before me. I enjoy Rick's each and every book as - (i) they're full of mystery, (ii) they've the best humors, (iii) they interact with real life, (iv) they introduce me to a new amazing world, and (v) because Rick wrote it.
I also like the RRP books, because they goes with the same genre like Rick Riordan does himself. They've mythologies and new fantasy worlds for me, to roam around and enjoy. I also like the humors they build up.

# Why I don't like the Artemis Fowl movie?

Though the movie was recommended by Eoin Colfer (the author of Artemis Fowl series) and directed by Kenneth Branagh, I still don't like the plot very much. It makes the fairies more exposed in the movie. They tried to do something different than the books; but I think books would've been much better, especially for Fowl fans. The CGI and everything was good, but I hoped that there would be much better plot. I also didn't like the whole removing-the-gold thing and putting a new item which is magical. It's also weird with all the Opal thing.

# Why I like The Half-Blood Report?

HBR or The Half-Blood Report is one of the best podcasts I ever listened. I enjoy Samuel's (host) analyzing speech and I also like the funny words from Diego (host). Both of them makes the each of the episodes so resourceful and energetic, I don't think anyone can leave them.

# Can you tell that I am a Poetry fan?

You may not take me as a full-poetry fan, but I like to make some poems that may sound like something celestial or weird for my book. So, writing my own lyrics for music is also awesome. If you choose lyrics as a kind of poem, I also like to hear them with the music going on.

# What does Iman Awakens mean?

Iman Awakens is nor some pseudonym or arrogant username for Instagram. It promotes and shows my creative works and activities in a brand-type way. So, Iman Awakens is a personal promotional platform or personal platform of mine. I also like to invite you, if you like to promote any creative stuffs.

# What kind of books I am writing now?

I am currently in the genre of science-fiction for a (maybe) dystopian world in future. I am also thinking of a fantasy series. I like Sci-Fi books, because they are easy to write from all the things you see around yourself (and movies!). But don't think my writing is very much easy; it is actually hard with all the dots I need to connect in the future.
